After working overtime for half a month straight, office worker Yu Heye finally collapsed at his desk. He stopped breathing before anyone could even get him to the hospital.
After his death, he is bound to the "I Don't Want to Work" System. He must enter the dream worlds of exploitative bosses, figure out the workplace tricks they use, and collect their Evil Boss Points.
Once he's collected enough Evil Boss Points, Yu Heye can come back to life.
One day, while he's doing a task, an external force suddenly yanks him out of the dream world.
He looks up in confusion to see a man dressed as an exorcist staring at him.
Yu Heye slips, and his entire ghostly self skitters right over the exorcist's head and away.
Afterward, he discovers that the same exorcist appears in the dream world of every exploitative boss he visits.
Worried the man will capture his soul, Yu Heye keeps out of his way as he secretly completes his tasks. Once he has enough Evil Boss Points, he finds an opportunity to slip away.
Later, Yu Heye fills his task meter and successfully comes back to life.
One day, while buying groceries downstairs from his apartment, someone suddenly grabs his hand.
The exorcist holds on tight. "Why haven't you been showing up in my dreams lately?"
"Do you need me to help you?"
Yu Heye: ???
The bottom pursues the top.
