The Breakup Master Variety Show

On the first anniversary of her divorce, Lin Jinghe and her ex-husband, Xue Zhe, both received invitations to appear on a variety show.

The show was called The Breakup Masters.

Lin Jinghe asked the producer, "What kind of show is this?"

The producer told him, "A messy-drama kind of show."

After joining the show, Lin Jinghe discovered that his ex-husband wasn't the man he remembered.

In his memory, Xue Zhe had been gentle and refined, tender as water.

The real Xue Zhe was a beast in fine clothes, a hypocrite hiding behind his manners.

It turned out their breakup hadn't been amicable, and their marriage had been full of scheming.

But that was all right. Lin Jinghe had kept plenty of things from Xue Zhe, too.

The corners of Lin Jinghe's lips lifted. Smiling, he tugged on Xue Zhe's tie and whispered into his ear, "It's still anyone's game when it comes to who outschemed whom."

Only after getting divorced did they realize they'd finally met their match.
