In Class 2, graduating in 2014 from Jiangcheng High School, the top student was Song Jinyan. He was quiet and taciturn, and often wore a pair of canvas shoes washed until they had faded white.

The student with the lowest grades was Jiang Yuezhi. She slept through class every day, never disrupted lessons, and spent money extravagantly.
