After Mistaking the Protagonist for Someone Else, I Was Taken by the Villainous Big Shot

Li Tang discovers that he's a doomed extra in a novel about everyone's favorite: he loves the protagonist but can't have him, keeps courting disaster, and ultimately meets a tragic end.

To avoid the plot, Li Tang decides to stay far away from the protagonist, a man who has just signed with his company. But then the company takes on a variety show and asks Li Tang to bring a newcomer along to get some exposure.

Li Tang: ...

*

Only after joining the show does Li Tang realize the company has dumped two newcomers on him.

He knows the protagonist is a newly signed company artist and that he's destined to fall blindly in love with him, so Li Tang marks Jiang Qingxue as a danger.

Once the show starts, every other team gets along beautifully.

Li Tang's team, on the other hand, goes like this: Jiang Qingxue moves closer, and Li Tang jumps three feet in the air.

Jiang Qingxue gets hurt, and Li Tang checks on him from six feet away.

Jiang Qingxue feels wronged, and Li Tang looks up arguments on his phone to reason with him.

The comments are full of laughter, and viewers keep telling Li Tang to pay attention to Jiang Qingxue, completely overlooking the other member of their team.

After the show ends, the two of them spend more and more time together, and Li Tang gradually gets caught in the web that is Jiang Qingxue.

Li Tang: Is this the power of the plot?

One day after they get together.

Li Tang asks Jiang Qingxue, who's massaging his lower back, "A-Xue, how did you end up liking me? Weren't you supposed to like Jiang Linfeng?"

Jiang Qingxue stares at him in shock. "Why would I like my own brother?"

Li Tang: ???

Help! What do I do after getting tangled up with the villainous big shot?
