Breaking news: Why have the Shan Hai beasts all run away from home? Bai Ze, their inspector, has personally descended to investigate, and the culprit turns out to be the demon clan's treasured Banner for Summoning Demons!
1. Li Nian unexpectedly inherits a plot of land and a System that claims to be the Banner for Summoning Demons. Forced to start helping the adorable giant beasts with their troubles, Li Nian accidentally builds a Shan Hai amusement park loved by both humans and Shan Hai beasts, becoming the most popular park director of the century.
2. As a fearsome beast listed in the Shan Hai rankings, Zhu Long is known to the world for its fierce appearance and formidable strength. No creature dares approach it. Only Zhu Long knows that it envies the auspicious beasts who are loved by people and bring them happiness and joy.
Of course, it also enjoys being feared and causing panic. Is there really a way to have the best of both worlds?
Unexpectedly, one day Zhu Long receives a job offer: Join Shan Hai Amusement Park, where the Dragon Coaster delivers a thrilling mix of joy and terror.
Zhu Long: ?
The next day, Zhu Long secretly leaves the Shan Hai Realm.
Zhu Long thought it was the luckiest and most special of them all, until it discovered it had a bunch of coworkers, all familiar beasts.
Next door, the one-legged oaf Shan Xiao swings a giant pendulum ride with a banana tree while constantly tossing bananas into its mouth. Its foolish, goofy grin is too much for a dragon to look at.
Fu Zhu, born by the water and gentle by nature, but misunderstood as the embodiment of floods, joins the merfolk in running the water park.
The Nine-Tailed Fox, who considers herself the most beautiful beast in Shan Hai but is forced to play second fiddle to auspicious beasts because of the stereotype that foxes are sly, is thriving in the entertainment industry. She even has her descendants open a Qingqiu tavern. Hoping to become the most popular Shan Hai beast, the foxes, who can do just about anything, develop eighteen different kinds of skills...
3. The beasts each have their own roles at Shan Hai Amusement Park and are so happy that they forget all about having illegally snuck out of the Shan Hai Realm. They work themselves into a frenzy, trying to become the employees most loved by the park director and visitors, until one day they see the inspector, Bai Ze.
The beasts' hearts jump. Just as they think Bai Ze is about to drag them back, he transforms into his original form. His smooth-coated, large, fluffy white body gazes tenderly down at their park director.
The beasts: So he isn't here to take our jobs. He's here to steal them!
4. Shan Hai Amusement Park has also become a haven for strays. No one looks down on them for being dirty anymore. Instead, they get clean water and food, and warm little beds.
Cats, dogs, even little rabbits and hedgehogs can play happily on the grass.
There is also a patient park director, and the cool-faced but warm-hearted administrator Bai, who can understand what they say.
The orange cat rolls over in front of Li Nian, offering its round, full belly for the director to rub. It has a home now, too.
