The Gloomy High Schooler's Guide to Solving Crimes

Synopsis: To think he’d ended up in a world without devils or Chainsaw Man. That should have been the case, Yoshida Hirofumi thought. Because there were still octopuses. But this seemingly peaceful world still had plenty of surprises for him. For example, an elementary schooler who thought like a mature adult, a middle schooler who had to assassinate his homeroom teacher to save the world, and a high schooler whose cooking could make people’s clothes burst right off them. It was enough to make Yoshida break into a gloomy smile. Ah, in Beika Town, where the death toll was abnormally high, nearly every crime scene happened to appear in front of an elementary schooler. How exciting. Reading guide: 1. A slice-of-life story. The viewpoint changes as the characters age. The main world is Detective Conan. 2. Yoshida is the bottom, with a very promiscuous relationship dynamic! The octopus is the top, and has no human form. 3. The main world is Detective Conan, with a few other anime series in supporting roles. The lineup is tentatively Assassination Classroom, Food Wars!, and a little sports anime. No worlds that truly disrupt the “scientific framework,” such as Jujutsu Kaisen or Bungo Stray Dogs. 4. Butterfly-effect-style rescues for characters whose fates are hard to accept. The protagonist doesn’t actively control events; just think of it as the author wishing for this kind of parallel world. [Note] Writing isn’t my profession. I’m a fanfic enthusiast, writing for myself out of love. I don’t accept writing advice or requests for updates.
