Jinpei Matsuda Wants to Get a Happy Ending with His Childhood Friend

Matsuda Jinpei was sent into a deep sleep by eight bombs. He never expected to get the chance to go back and beat up that guy who didn't wear a protective suit. Hagiwara, who was still at an ordinary school with his childhood friend at age 20: "Jinpei-chan, why do you look like that?" Jinpei-chan grabbed his childhood friend's collar. "This is all because of you, you bastard!" Hagiwara was inexplicably beaten up by his childhood friend. He was completely baffled. But when he saw his childhood friend looking as if he was about to cry, Hagiwara was still worried about him. At 22, the two of them went to the police academy, just as they had chosen to do in their previous lives. Matsuda Jinpei woke up with a start from a dream. Damn it, why did those two guys die too? Why was that blond guy the one who made it to the end? Tsk! Before they met: Hagiwara: Why does my childhood friend keep looking at other people? The class representative: ? Why does that classmate keep looking at me? Hiromitsu: ? Why is that classmate staring at me? Furuya: ? Why does that guy keep sneaking glances at my childhood friend? After they met: Everyone: He's just a curly-haired guy who talks tough! Reader's guide: 1. Matsuda is my favorite, and the pairing is Hagiwara x Matsuda. 2. There won't be much romantic drama. During the rescue, the two just act like normal close friends, and it has nothing to do with the start of the Conan timeline. Once the rescue is done, that's it. 3. Writing isn't my profession. I just had a sudden burst of inspiration. Please don't rush me to update or give me writing advice. Personal headcanons: Matsuda is probably bisexual. It was only after Hagiwara died in his previous life that he realized he might be able to have a relationship with Hagiwara that went beyond ordinary friendship. After being reborn, his strongest desire is still to save Hagiwara. He'll think about his feelings and everything else afterward. I have a few thoughts about whether he should send Sato a text. One possibility is that he lets himself move on, and finally puts aside the fixation caused by the deaths of his friends from the past, just before his own life ends. The other is that he really does have feelings for Sato, but more than anything, he hopes that people will remember something beautiful and innocent about him when he dies, rather than being consumed by the sorrow of his death in the line of duty. I don't think you can truly fall in love with someone after knowing them for only a week or so, either. There could be affection and fondness, but I don't think Sato was Matsuda's fixation. His real fixation was his dear friend who had passed away. Instead, the words he left behind made Matsuda the object of Sato's fixation. Theme: If heaven gives you another chance, all you want is to save someone important in your life
