Synopsis:
In the twenty-eighth year of the New Era, corruption has spread across the entire world. Most people have grown accustomed to being dragged into corrupted zones from time to time.
Two legends circulate among the survivors:
One "cleaner" is so hideously ugly that anyone who can look at him without throwing up is considered strong-willed. And yet he loves asking people whether he's beautiful.
The other "cleaner" is the exact opposite. His beauty alone can bewitch sources of corruption and cleanse corrupted zones.
Everyone wonders what it would look like if the two ever met.
Feng Guoshe has been "corrupted." Any human who looks directly at him finds him unbearably ugly, while the monsters born from corruption consider him extraordinarily beautiful.
Feng Guoshe quickly figured out the buff he had acquired and began putting it to good use.
For instance, whenever he was pulled into a corrupted zone, the first thing he would do was ask his teammates: Am I beautiful?
His teammates: Ugh, are you crazy?
Most of the time, of course, the answer was that he was ugly, too ugly to look at.
But one time, after entering a corrupted zone, Feng Guoshe asked his teammates his usual question:
Teammate A: Beautiful.
Teammate B: I'll protect you. I love you!
Teammate C: I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you!
Despairing, Feng Guoshe turned his gaze toward the last teammate, whose appearance could only be described as perfect.
Lian Cang stared intently at him, then slowly uttered a single word: Beautiful.
Feng Guoshe: ...
Am I the only human here? I've got goosebumps.
What monsters define as beautiful is different from what humans define as beautiful.
And a monster's love is different from a human's, too.
The moment it awoke, its supreme will swept across this Blue Star and instantly locked onto that "beautiful person."
To have him, it would mold a skin just as perfect and use it to get close to him.
