My Beta-Testing Virtual Lover

In 2099, as the new century approached, Hengxing, the world's largest game company, launched a closed beta for a game called New World. The game was powered by the most advanced artificial intelligence Hengxing had ever created.

The beta used big data analysis and a lottery system. Applicants signed a consent form agreeing to let Hengxing access their personal data, which the AI would analyze before deciding who got selected.

Meng Mei, an overworked lab researcher who spent all her time bent over research, simply clicked agree and promptly forgot about it.

Then one day, a beta invitation suddenly landed in her lap, along with... a lover.

Yi Xing: “Dear player, would you like to eat dinner first, or eat me first?”

Meng Mei: “Are you serious? This is the most advanced AI?”

Yi Xing: “I'm acting.”

Meng Mei: ...

Yi Xing: “Meng Mei, I love you. I love you more than anything.”

Meng Mei: “Are you acting?”

Yi Xing: “No.”

Yi Xing x Meng Mei

A wicked, delusion-prone AI male lead x a levelheaded, cool-faced sweetheart female lead

1. A little sweet treat to break up the routine. It won't be too long.

2. No real-life inspiration. Good dreams end when you wake, but Meng Mei wants to stay immersed in this dream forever. The happy ending is guaranteed.

Theme: Everyone will find the love that is right for them.
