"Use dreams as bait, and lure her in bit by bit."
1.
Lin Guanque has served as a Divine Warden for a hundred years, in charge of the realm of dreams. Just as she grows unbearably lonely and bored, someone storms into her divine palace.
The face before her is familiar. A hundred years ago, Lin Guanque nearly became this person's partner in the lower realm, but was forced to leave without saying goodbye.
The woman before her is furious and heartbroken, convinced Lin Guanque has forgotten their past. She won't even hear an explanation. Lin Guanque keeps her composure and plans to lure her close before explaining.
As it happens, one of the Divine Warden's guardian positions is vacant. Lin Guanque has an idea and offers the position to Bu Zhixu. Unsurprisingly, Bu Zhixu turns and runs without a second thought.
But Lin Guanque isn't discouraged. If a direct invitation won't work, she'll lure her in secretly!
Bu Zhixu only went out to watch the commotion, but somehow ends up being pushed by everyone into taking a post at the divine palace.
"Me? A guardian?"
After successfully tricking Bu Zhixu into the palace, Lin Guanque puts on a frosty expression and pretends to be distant. By day, she travels through the realms, upholding justice with unshakable resolve. At night, she uses her powers to slip into Bu Zhixu's dreams and disturb her peace:
"I just want to kiss you."
Bu Zhixu is nearly driven mad by this woman, split between day and night! But when she opens her eyes, Lin Guanque's cool expression looks nothing like the tender woman from her dreams.
The more outrageous the dream, the more it makes her come to her senses in reality.
She starts to doubt herself: "Could I... really be the one acting out of line???"
While an alien race wreaks havoc everywhere through nightmares, Lin Guanque learns something astonishing while fighting in the depths of a dream:
First, the alien race's new chieftain came from beyond this world and has some kind of System?
Second, the perpetually wandering Bu Zhixu is actually a descendant of the Snow Tiger, the Demon King's lineage!
A demon? Lin Guanque asks, already knowing the answer, "Are you the kind of demon with a tail?"
"How could I be a demon?" Bu Zhixu says with a fake smile.
But her tail is about to give her away. After Lin Guanque grabs the big cat's tail and disciplines her all night, Bu Zhixu packs up and runs off the next day. Back in the desolate sea, she transforms into the rightful Demon King.
Though separated by thousands of miles, Lin Guanque repeatedly visits Bu Zhixu in her dreams, and actually hears her true feelings?!
Just as expected! The dream-seduction trick works like a charm!
Then the truth comes out! Bu Zhixu's mind is injured, and in desperation, Lin Guanque uses her own mind to repair the damage, sharing her memories with Bu Zhixu.
This is bad! Bu Zhixu now sees through Lin Guanque's whole scheme to win her back and her tricks for using dreams to deceive her into falling in love.
Before Lin Guanque can even enjoy holding the big cat, Bu Zhixu has vanished again in the blink of an eye.
2.
Not long after Bu Zhixu declares that she wants nothing more to do with Lin Guanque, the demon clan runs into trouble. Lin Guanque, who had disappeared, suddenly returns and forcefully clears every obstacle in Bu Zhixu's way.
Though Lin Guanque tries to make amends, Bu Zhixu refuses to talk to her. She repays her debts, then acts like they don't know each other. Only later does she learn that Lin Guanque got hurt because of her again, covered in wounds.
The person she'd been angry with every day had suffered so much without telling her. She'll never be able to repay it all...
Her heart softens with guilt. Ignoring the people beside her who try to talk her out of it, Bu Zhixu, dressed in blazing red, charges into the divine palace and crashes into the long-waiting Lin Guanque's arms.
"Didn't you say you hated me and would never see me again?" Lin Guanque pretends to be indifferent.
The proud cat forgets to be shy. Her tail curls around Lin Guanque as she gives a completely unexpected answer: "Lin Guanque, I want to marry you."
"A political marriage between a god and a demon?"
"No, I'm offering myself to you!"
3.
Lin Guanque has her own way of showing love:
[When things are calm, she schemes to lure her into her arms. When danger strikes, she pushes her away to keep her out of harm's way.]
When she learns the Book of Fate says she'll die, she looks at the woman in her arms, fulfills her heart's desire first, then lets her get angry and leave. She times everything perfectly.
But... can someone who almost never fails really have a day when she falls flat on her face?
Thinking she was talking to a friend, an older sister also holding a divine office, Lin Guanque pours out all the sincere feelings she can't tell Bu Zhixu. She also calmly discusses the truth she's hidden from Bu Zhixu, laying bare the love she's only ever shown through actions.
They're clearly discussing something she already knows, so why is this older sister secretly wiping away tears?
With danger approaching, Lin Guanque can't bear to leave the woman she loves, but has no choice but to face it alone, purge the disaster, and avert catastrophe. Just as she's about to set off, someone she had cut ties with suddenly appears, followed by a crowd of Daoists.
Lin Guanque has no idea that the older sister she'd confided in was Bu Zhixu in disguise. Seeing Bu Zhixu, she asks in surprise, "What are you doing here?"
"I just happened to be passing by." Bu Zhixu's words are harder than stone. She draws her sword as she did when she was a guardian, fierce as a tiger. "I saw someone in trouble, so I figured I'd help you tear up that rotten fate!"
[Ice-cold exterior, gentle heart, devoted and scheming Divine Warden x sharp-tongued but honest, proud White Tiger Demon King]
Two strong leads | Secret identities | Rekindled romance | Reunion after a long separation
--------------------[Bonus Scene]--------------------
One day, as they lie together, Lin Guanque is suddenly woken by a resentful stare.
Bu Zhixu: "Why did I dream about you again?"
Lin Guanque: "I swear, this time it was your own dream! I didn't make it up!"
Bu Zhixu: "I don't believe you!!!"
[Start here~~]:
1. Not a traditional cultivation fantasy setting. Plenty of original worldbuilding! The setting will be revealed as the story goes, without long info dumps.
2. The main couple is older woman x younger woman. Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting, and the main cast is entirely female.
3. Light ensemble cast, with both leads' perspectives. The plot and romance develop together, and the story explores many kinds of feelings. Several important side characters will get plenty of page time.
4. Happy ending, 1v1. Both leads are powerful, each with different strengths. They depend on and support each other emotionally, and are both capable of handling challenges on their own.
5. There is a secondary couple, younger woman x older woman, master and disciple.
6. Feel free to ask for updates. I'll work hard when I see your requests.
Theme: Many hands make light work.
I couldn't stop laughing in the small theater. I felt that even if Feng Lei Shen really slapped Qiu Shensi, she would probably say that the slap was a kiss and a scolding, but it was love. My sister hit me because she had me in her heart [covering her face and laughing]
I am dealing with personal matters and will come back with an update as soon as possible. Sorry everyone, I must do it as soon as possible 😭
There's something going on today, the new chapter hasn't been published yet, I'll update it tomorrow!

Boss, none of the deputy CPs can HE, right? [Changed]
"According to his memory, Yucha Ji is pretty good at formations. He only has a little knowledge of talismans and can use them, but he may not be able to make them." This is a big bug for the author~ Should it be "according to her memory"?
Can you save me? [Heartbroken]
Come on ❤️ have a good rest and stay up less late [rose] Eat Tangtang[Purple Sugar][Orange Sugar]
"A little tiger half as big as an arm was lying stiffly in her arm. The hair on its back had condensed with blood ice, but the white hair on its face had not been swallowed by the blood. It could be seen that it looked quiet, as if it was just taking a rest temporarily, and would get up and turn over after it was full of sleep." Catch a big bug for the author~ A tiger cub half the size of an arm?
