Here is the blurb:

=

At fourteen, Gu Ci's father passed away, and he was taken in by the Huo family.

The Huo family had a young master around his age who was said to suffer from a serious immune disorder. He especially couldn't have direct physical contact with other people, and he was cold and withdrawn by nature. In the circles of the elite and at school, he was notorious for being someone you didn't want to cross.

Everyone feared and respected him. But Gu Ci, the sunny, beloved little angel, thought: Since the young master is in poor health, I'll take care of him from now on!

On the very first day, though, he managed to mess everything up by falling right onto the young master's lap.

Gu Ci: Save me! The sky's falling... Huh? Nothing happened!

Huo Wenyuan: ?

After that, everyone was astonished to see the aloof young master Huo undergo a complete change of heart:

He used to keep to himself, but now he always had a sweet, pretty boy by his side.

He used to wear a face like frost, but now his expression softened only for that pretty boy.

He used to be cold and distant, but now he took the greatest care to indulge the boy's every preference.

A domineering young heir from another prominent family refused to believe it. He gathered a large gang of thugs and went looking for trouble with Gu Ci. But just as he'd lured Gu Ci outside, that fearsome Huo heir came rushing over, radiating murderous fury.

Huo Wenyuan took Gu Ci's hand, his voice icy. "Touch him, and you're asking to die."

The trembling young heir and the thugs: ???

Didn't they say he couldn't have close physical contact with anyone? How come Gu Ci was the exception?!

·

Gu Ci always thought he and Huo Wenyuan could be friends for life, until, in their senior year of high school, Huo Wenyuan was suddenly sent abroad.

Ten years later, the new head of the Huo family arrived to take over and announced that he was returning to China.

Rumor had it that this young, handsome heir had once cherished someone above all else, but for one reason or another, his love had gone unrequited, and he'd had no choice but to leave the country in a hurry.

At the press conference, everyone was speculating about the reason for the Huo heir's return. Then the powerful man onstage gazed into the distance and said with quiet resolve, "Because of him."

He strode through the crowd and held the beautiful, fair-skinned young man tightly, his gaze hungry and full of longing.

"It's been a long time, my dear Cici."

All the social circles erupted.

·

Late at night after drinking, Huo Wenyuan caught the slender, snow-white ankle, dark currents of long-suppressed desire churning in his eyes.

"Cici, everyone says my love went unrequited. Is that true?"

"The love is real. The unrequited part isn't."
