The Vine Tree and His Little Madman

[Gloomy, eccentric little madman bottom (researcher)] x [Innocent but a little wicked, clingy sweetheart who craves love top (man-eating tree)] Sha Xingmo, a genius researcher and a "freak." [They say he's obsessed with studying mutants and even hunts humans.] [Watch out for that lunatic. If he gets upset, he'll release biochemical toxins and turn people into monsters.] After being framed, Sha Xingmo was exiled to a deserted island, where he lived in isolation, relying on a few chocolate chips each day to keep himself mentally stable. Until another monster was dumped on the island. "You're beautiful," Sha Xingmo said, caressing the smooth bark. "Be my pet, darling." The man-eating tree's vines curled into a ball, and its flower crown blushed pink. * Recently, Sha Xingmo's little monster darling had been acting strange. Its pollination period kept coming around more often, and its plump pollen sacs were always pointed at him, raring to go. "I'm warning you," Sha Xingmo said, pointing at the stamen. "Don't pollinate me again." The flower drooped sadly. "I'm a human, and you're a tree," he patiently explained. "We have reproductive incompatibility." The man-eating tree's flower crown withered at once, and a few "tears" squeezed out of its shriveled thorns. "Stop crying." Sha Xingmo dragged a corpse out of his sack. "Let's eat first." * The little monster's power grew uncontrollably. One day, Sha Xingmo woke to find the entire base wrapped in vines, trapping him inside. "Don't rush," Sha Xingmo coaxed it. "Put the spores into the bottle..." Before he could finish speaking, the little monster lunged at him. Sha Xingmo flew into a rage. "Put your little spores away!" Little monster: QAQ * After the little monster disguised itself as a human, Sha Xingmo taught it the rules of human society. There was just one thing the little monster could never learn. It had no self-control at all and always acted on "instinct." "Darling," the little monster clung to him pitifully. "Why don't you call me darling anymore?" Sha Xingmo looked calm on the outside, but inside he was panicking and wanted to run. "You're human now. Stop clinging to me all the time." "I'm not human," the little monster said, its eyes reddening with anxiety. "I'm just your little monster!" Vines burst from the joints of its fingers, wrapping around its darling as if it were prey, binding him tightly before slowly "swallowing him whole." "It's okay. I can wait." [It's not like you can escape anyway.] Reader's Guide [highlighted by hand] 1. The bottom has a slightly crazy side, while the top is an immature little sweetheart.
