The Female Lead Is a True Villain

Fang Qingqing, the only daughter of the Fang family, the foremost of the five great clans, was doted on by everyone from childhood. Bright and flamboyant, she did as she pleased, disregarded etiquette, and showed no respect for her elders.

At fifteen, she went to the Fuyao Sect to study cultivation. Her master said that only those free of emotion and desire could reach the Mahayana realm, but she insisted on having both. How could single-minded ambition and painstaking effort be inferior to doing nothing and going with the flow? What a joke!

She was captivated by beauty, and fell for Xu Zhiying, the cold and haughty senior brother of the Fuyao Sect, at first sight. Unfortunately, she couldn't beat him. Once she could, she'd try him out and see whether a forcibly plucked melon was sweet.

She rejected a marriage proposal and offended the head of the Kongtong Sect. After learning that he was vengeful and enjoyed cruelty, she decided to strike first, test her own abilities while she was at it, and ambush him in secret to kill him.

After five carefree years, her entire family was suddenly wiped out. Yet the righteous sects that had vowed to avenge her were too busy fighting among themselves.

She was injured while secretly pursuing someone who knew the truth. Then the stable hand who had followed her up the mountain finally revealed his true identity: Lu Cheng, the Left Protector of the Demonic Cult. Dressed in black, he reached out to her with a wicked smile. "The righteous sects are all useless. Want me to help avenge your family, my lady?"

Xu Zhiying, the senior brother in white, called to her from afar. "Fang Qingqing, don't go astray! Don't let the demonic path lead you astray!"

Fang Qingqing listened to neither of them. She planted her sword in the ground and struggled to her feet. My family's vengeance is mine to take! I'll decide what is righteous and what is evil! Today, I, Fang Qingqing, issue a kill order against the entire martial world alone: Whoever slaughtered my family, as long as I, Fang Qingqing, still live, I will hunt you to the ends of the earth!
