Summer Out of Control

Working Is Too Exhausting, So I'll Update Whenever I Feel Like It

[Willful, Arrogant Young Master Bottom x Slightly Aloof but Actually Innocent Puppy Top]

At the end of summer, Zhou Siyu went alone to a remote little county in Z Province.

The shabby town had never seen a young master so spoiled, flamboyant, and dazzling. When he leaned against an alley wall and narrowed his eyes to sneer at someone, he was as elegant as a pampered fox.

The moment Duan Lin saw him, a few words immediately came to mind: a beauty who brings disaster.

When he later learned that the other man liked men, he avoided him even more.

But Zhou Siyu seemed to find him a novelty for a while, and took every chance to needle him. Eventually, he went so far as to use both threats and bribes to move into Duan Lin's home.

The young master was useless at everything, carefree in his moods, and took pleasure in making life difficult for himself by finding fault with everything day after day.

Unable to put up with it any longer, Duan Lin finally resolved to tell him to stop pushing his luck. But then he saw Zhou Siyu pack his things and settle into a silver-gray convertible. He raised a hand and flicked Duan Lin on the forehead, smiling brightly. "I'm off. Maybe we'll meet again."

Then he lazily pushed up his sunglasses, and the flashy sports car sped away.

Duan Lin did not even have time to say anything. Holding breakfast for the two of them in one hand, he stood there with his lips pressed tight, staring down the empty street.

Zhou Siyu had never given much thought to stray puppies. But when he saw how the other man kept dodging him, he found it amusing and couldn't resist teasing him a few times.

Sadly, their three months together had been too brief. Once he had finished what he came to do, he put the whole thing behind him and went home, forgetting all about the other man.

He never expected they would meet again.

On a pouring, rainy night, Duan Lin stood drenched outside Zhou Siyu's villa with a backpack on, quietly saying that he had come to return something Zhou Siyu had forgotten when he left.

Zhou Siyu wasn't stupid. After a moment of surprise, he understood. He held a cigarette between his teeth and looked at Duan Lin for a long while, then suddenly laughed.
