It was the symbol of the Qin family's power.
"Ning Weichen, we won," Qin Luo said.

For the next ten years, Qin Luo held sole control of the Qin Group. No one dared to slight or obstruct him because he was an Omega.
They knew that someone stood by Qin Luo's side, a blade protecting him. As long as that person was there, Qin Luo would always remain firmly in control of the Qin family.
But no one knew that after their grand wedding, where they had declared their love with such passion, the two of them treated each other with perfect courtesy for ten whole years.
Except during heat and rut, Qin Luo and Ning Weichen wouldn't even sleep in the same bed.
Qin Luo treated Ning Weichen with both indifference and tenderness.
Ning Weichen treated Qin Luo with deep devotion, yet never dared to approach him.
For ten years, the two of them kept a secret they shared.
Until Qin Luo handed Ning Weichen a divorce agreement.
"Sign it."
Ning Weichen had never had the right to say no to Qin Luo.
The signature at the bottom right of the divorce agreement was written in bold, forceful strokes, as if it might tear through the paper.
After setting down his pen, Ning Weichen said, "Take care of yourself."
But no one knew about the tears Qin Luo shed after Ning Weichen turned away.
It was the first time Qin Luo had ever cried, because after ten years, his alpha still hadn't fallen in love with him.

The news of Qin Luo and Ning Weichen's divorce sent shock waves through all of Xingcheng. Everyone said Ning Weichen had finally had enough of Qin Luo's years of oppression, and had taken part of Qin Luo's power with him when he left, severing ties completely.
But no one knew that Qin Luo had given it to him.
During the days after their divorce, Ning Weichen often dreamed of the first time he had met Qin Luo.
At dusk, in an alley, he was covered in blood after being beaten up. Qin Luo, dressed in a spotless white school uniform, handed him a tissue.
"Do you want to come with me? I know what you want."
At eighteen, Qin Luo already looked much as he would at twenty-two: cold and composed, like a blade.
Later, after purging the Qin family, Qin Luo gave him everything he had promised.
Money, power, and beauty.
But none of that was what Ning Weichen wanted.
No one knew how many nights Ning Weichen had stood outside Qin Luo's bedroom, turning his name over and over in his mind. In the end, he never found the courage to open the door and go in.
And then he had no reason to open that door ever again.
