Ayanoji Gen'ei is a veteran gamer who claims there's no game he can't beat.
His chuunibyou nature once led him to post online, "Reality is just a boring game," laying the groundwork for the fox to trick him later.
Then he discovered he had spiritual powers...
Fox: A corrupted Honmaru? Are you sure about this, Master?
Gen'ei: It's just a matter of chatting them up and winning them over. I'm an expert!
And so, he resolutely set off down the path to a corrupted Honmaru, never to return.
Ayanoji Gen'ei had a secret he'd never told anyone.
There was a System inside his head.
As soon as he set foot on Honmaru soil, the System activated and issued him a mission.
Just as Ayanoji Gen'ei was overjoyed, thinking the System's appearance meant fortune was on his side, he suddenly made out the words on its panel:
Survival or destruction rests on a single thought.
Welcome to the Survival System.
Ayanoji Gen'ei fell silent.
"A real man never gives up," he said. "So it's a Survival System? No problem. If I succeed in winning them over here, I'll survive!"
