Pei Zheng was a child star, famous across the interstellar realm for his beauty.
In this world where male insects reign supreme, Pei Zheng was considerate and never bullied female insects. He even devoted himself to helping them.
Netizens called him a rising star of the new era.
But when he was thirteen, scandals about the star began appearing one after another.
"Secretly meeting a female insect at midnight, two-timing three partners"
"A gambling addiction, never learns his lesson"
"Petty and narrow-minded, repeatedly bullies other male insects"
"The legendary S-rank male insect turns out to be a born good-for-nothing"
Rumors flew, and everyone waited for Pei Zheng to explain himself and clear things up. But he disappeared.
There was no doubt about it: he was a coward.
Netizens roared, "Get out of the entertainment industry!"
Five years later, Pei Zheng appeared before the public once again.
The more deeply they had loved him before, the more genuine their hatred was now.
"What is he doing here? To embarrass himself?"
"Everyone knows he's got a bad temper and makes too many demands."
"If he shows up, I'm not watching!"
But Pei Zheng proved himself through his talent.
On a survival variety show, Pei Zheng was always the first to finish each task. He even helped his teammates who were dragging everyone down, earning their respect.
On a dating variety show, Pei Zheng spoke his mind and acted completely out of character, winning the affection of a crowd of female insects.
On a parenting variety show, Pei Zheng was patient, caring, and gentle. The children he looked after were adorable and well-behaved.
Everyone exclaimed, "Is this really the same Pei Zheng we know?"
Just then, a new twist emerged in the scandals from back then.
It turned out they had misunderstood Pei Zheng.
"Our baby has suffered for so many years. Don't worry, no one will ever bully you again."
"From now on, I'll be Pei Zheng's strongest support."
"I deserve to die. I was wrong to blame him."
Even the interstellar realm's coldest, most abstinent female-insect general announced that she had feelings for Pei Zheng and had admired him for a long time.
Pei Zheng himself: ? I had no idea?
