A very long list of warnings, placed first because it's extremely important. Please read it all before deciding whether to continue:
1. The female lead is sensitive and conflicted. She has good qualities as well as flaws, and she can't be perfect in every way, but she's always growing. Please don't hold her to the standards of a saint or a superhuman.
2. The main story contains intense angst that will leave you utterly devastated. The female lead is kidnapped midway through the story, and nearly dies as a result. If you can't handle that, close this immediately. Don't force yourself.
3. This isn't a wish-fulfillment novel. There are no absolute villains among the people around the female lead, but they're not all wonderful people either. They're ordinary people with both good and bad sides, and there won't be any face-slapping plots.
4. The male lead, Yuan Lang, has very little page time early on, so little that he might as well not exist.
5. Both leads have exes. The female lead's story with her ex will be told in full. Neither lead is sexually inexperienced.
6. There is a full twelve-year age gap between the leads, with the man older than the woman. The male lead's pursuit of the female lead is a nightmare-level challenge.
7. The story has crossover elements with Zi Bu Yu and Tong Tong Ke Yi, but you can read this without having read either of those books.
8. This is the author's indulgence, pure personal wish fulfillment. I'll write whatever I want, however I want. I don't accept writing advice or judgment. Life isn't easy, and everyone has their own struggles. The author understands, respects, supports, and wishes you well. If you enjoy reading, I'd be grateful if you left a comment. If you don't enjoy it, you can leave whenever you like, but please try not to leave abusive comments or complaints, or slap labels on the author without knowing the full story.
9. All canon characters in this story are based entirely on the author's personal interpretation. It may differ from yours and come across as out of character. If you can't accept that, close this immediately.
If you've read all these warnings and still want to continue, welcome to Qingqing's world~
Once, Tang Qing's happiness was a pretty double-decker pencil case. With that pencil case, she felt she had the whole world.
Later, Tang Qing's happiness was the remote, impoverished village of Xia Rongshu. In that little village, she found the unconditional love and companionship of her grandmother and friends.
When she grew up, Tang Qing's happiness was that unyielding "River Dragon." They could heal each other and find warmth in one another's arms.
Much later, Tang Qing thought she would never be happy again. She built herself a safe, sealed-off little nest and licked her wounds alone. Then a cruel pair of hands forcibly dragged her out of her safe little nest, and walked beside her into the sunshine.
