Dan Tong was a clownfish. A tsunami twenty-two years ago wiped out his entire group. When he washed ashore and thought he wouldn't survive, a mysterious total lunar eclipse transformed him into a human baby. A fishing couple surnamed Tong adopted him, and through a twist of fate, the little fish Dan Tong grew up as the human child Tong Tong.

In the year he turned twenty-two, Tong Tong discovered that his body was changing. It seemed he'd reached the age when he was supposed to have fish babies. To make sure his fry had good genes, he decided to find an exceptional man or woman to marry.

To recruit soldiers, Yuan Lang was dragged around by Railway like a prop, putting on demonstrations and showing off. He never expected that these displays would attract not only new recruits, but all sorts of strange admirers as well.

Tong Tong: Lieutenant Colonel Yuan! I like you! Will you marry me and have babies with me?

Yuan Lang: Comrade, I'm a man, and so are you. How are two men supposed to get married and have children?

Tong Tong: Oh, I get it. You like girls! That's easy!

Tong Tong turned around. No one knew what he did, but when he turned back, the strong, strapping man he'd been had become a curvy young woman.

Tong Tong: There, I'm a woman now! Let's get married!

Yuan Lang: !!!!!

Clownfish are hermaphrodites. Every clownfish group has a dominant female and several adult males. If the dominant female dies, one of the adult males will transform into the group's new female.

Yuan Lang stared at the information on his computer screen, sinking into a strange, bewildered silence.

Everyone says that the Old A unit can do anything except give birth. Tong Tong's response: Tong Tong has no shortcomings. He can do it all!
