The Empress Consort Rules the Harem

[Next palace intrigue novel: The Little Palace Maid Has Grand Ambitions. Add it to your collection from my author page!] On the eighteenth day of the third month of the third year of Chengle, Shen Tingyi entered the palace to pay her respects to her elder half-sister, Shen Yuanxi, Consort Rong of Changle Palace. She was ambushed and lost her virginity to Emperor Wen Chu of Chengle. In her previous life, she believed her sister's lies and hated the emperor to the bone. In the end, she was framed for harming the imperial heir and sent to the Cold Palace. Not long afterward, her sister poisoned her to death. After being reborn, determined to avoid the same fate and get revenge on her sister, she took the initiative and seduced the emperor. And then she became the most favored woman in the harem. On her sister's birthday, she was promoted. When her sister was demoted, she was promoted. When her sister died, she was promoted. Shen Tingyi: ??? Warnings: 1. Traditional palace intrigue. The male lead will not dismiss the other consorts, so don't read if that bothers you. He gradually falls for the female lead as they spend time together, while she stays clearheaded from beginning to end. (The author does not support women competing against women.) 2. The story moves at a slow pace, is told from the female lead's perspective, and has a large ensemble cast. 3. The protagonists are neither perfect nor good people. If you dislike them, please be gentle. 4. Chapters 29-85 were previously premium chapters. You do not need to buy them again. My next novel, The Empress Rises Step by Step, is available to pre-save. Here is the blurb: The Marquis of Sui'an's household produced two imperial consorts. One is gentle and dignified, considerate, and praised throughout the palace for her virtue. The other is beautiful enough to outshine all others, but ruthless and spiteful, always jealous of other women. The first has spent years in the palace without winning the emperor's favor. The second, however, is greatly favored, and became Worthy Consort in just a few short years. Everyone in the palace says Worthy Consort is a master of scheming who won the emperor's favor with her beauty. Only Fu Yu knows how cold Jiang Lingyin's heart is. He has tried for years to warm it, but failed. He knows Jiang Lingyin is not a kind person, and that someone once lived in her heart. That person was noble and bright, like a cool ray of moonlight. But he also knows this: Jiang Lingyin does not like chasing after anyone. Compared with the lonely moonlight of night, she longs more for the warmth of sunlight in the day. Theme: Find light in adversity and learn to love yourself.
