[A record of my cringe-worthy past. Probably best not to read, it'll make you furious.]
Everyone in and out of the palace says the current crown prince is useless. His parents, the emperor and empress, live in seclusion to recuperate, while a young general has held power from him for years. Yet he still does nothing but compose poetry and admire the moon, content to be a good-for-nothing. The whole court says they might as well put someone else on the throne.
Of course, they only dare whisper behind his back. They would never dare say it to his face. Everyone knows that if anyone shows the crown prince even the slightest disrespect, this useless good-for-nothing will run to that cold-hearted young general and tattle. Anyone who disrespects the crown prince will probably be as good as dead.
The ministers all say: Could you two at least do your own jobs? The one who should rebel, rebel, and the one who should make a comeback, make a comeback! Which side are we supposed to take?
Reading guide:
1. A cold on the surface but soft-hearted general gong x a seemingly useless but actually scheming crown prince shou
2. Be warned, it's a bad ending! It's a bad ending, run!
3. Both leads are terribly awkward. They keep torturing each other for no reason, then get sweet for a few seconds, over and over.
4. There is a beautiful cannon-fodder character! If that's a trigger for you, don't read!
5. The ending may leave you a little distressed. If you can't handle angst, please be very careful!
6. This is the author's first danmei novel, written many years ago. The plot and writing are both extremely melodramatic, with a few cringe-worthy moments.
7. A short story of around 60,000 words, fully written in advance and posted on schedule. Don't worry, it won't be abandoned.
8. Most importantly: if you don't enjoy it, please go easy on me. I'm only recording my cringe-worthy past. Thank you, everyone!
Theme: Cherish the beautiful days you have.
I had to do this bitch, even though I knew it was an abuse article, I still read it
