Blurb:

Su Huaiyu had been withdrawn since childhood. Despite his exceptional looks and brilliant academic performance, people still didn't take to him.

After finally making a friend, he treasured the relationship dearly, only to be falsely accused of liking men.

Faced with the rumors, his friend immediately distanced himself. "I thought we were friends! You actually want to hit on me? Don't come looking for me again!"

From then on, "Su Huaiyu likes men and has a white moonlight" became a fact everyone accepted for years.

When fate brought Su Huaiyu face to face with his real white moonlight, he finally had to admit:

The rumors weren't wrong. He really did like men, but his white moonlight was someone else.

The real white moonlight: "So your white moonlight really is that Yan Jin?"

Su Huaiyu: "If I said it was you, would you believe me?"

The real white moonlight: "Stop joking. I'm not gay."

Su Huaiyu: "Do I look like I'm joking?"

The supposedly straight-as-an-arrow white moonlight saw the earnest, utterly sincere look in Su Huaiyu's eyes and panicked.

After that, he stopped playing ball with Su Huaiyu, stopped eating with him, and stopped biking to and from school with him. When he saw him on the road, he wouldn't even say hello.

Su Huaiyu could only accept his fate and resign himself to being cut off a second time.

Who would have guessed that the fake white moonlight would suddenly return, launching a fierce pursuit of Su Huaiyu? That finally drove the real white moonlight up the wall!

"Why is he playing ball with him?"

"Why is he eating with him?"

"How can he go to and from school with him every day!"

"A greeting is one thing, but why are they touching each other now!!!"

"Why is Su Huaiyu so easy!!!"

Well, the real white moonlight was finally catching on. Too bad liking a straight guy was exhausting, and Su Huaiyu gave up. He disappeared so quickly that no one could find a trace of him.

The real white moonlight chased after him in tears. "This gay guy? I'll be one, then!"

And so, by accident, Su Huaiyu became his own white moonlight's white moonlight.

Love and hate can easily become obsessions. Obsessions give rise to dreams, trapping both the living and the dead within them, unable to escape on their own. Hence, "Dream Prison."

Because humanity's obsessions have endured for thousands of years, the mysterious government agency made up of dream-spirit masters, the Dream Prison Bureau, has grown ever larger. It has become the dream "iron rice bowl" for many young people.

But not just anyone can get a job there.

From the age of eighteen to twenty-three, Shen Ling submitted dozens of applications to the Bureau's internship department. Even the dimwitted older brother next door managed to get in, yet Shen Ling, a top student in spirit studies with a considerable reputation, was rejected every time and never even got an interview.

Shen Ling swore that he and the head of the internship department would be enemies from then on.

Before joining the Bureau, Shen Ling heard that the head of the internship department was a useless, eccentric "old geezer."

After joining, Shen Ling discovered that only the "eccentric" part of the rumor was true. This gorgeous "old geezer" was still trying to drive him out of the Bureau.

With no idea why, Shen Ling felt both hurt and angry, and sincerely hated his guts.

But after they took part in solving several Dream Prisons together, and the "old geezer" protected Shen Ling so thoroughly that not a hair on his head was harmed, his "hatred" began to change into something else.

And just as Shen Ling started getting butterflies around the "old geezer," the man tried a different way of getting rid of him.

The "old geezer": "Lingling, do you have a partner? I can set you up with someone. Go home, get married, and have kids."

Shen Ling: "You're so old. Keep them for yourself."

The "old geezer": "Lingling, why not go on a blind date with someone from the First Division tomorrow? I asked the head of the First Division to find you a match."

Shen Ling, furious: "No! I'm gay!!!"

The "old geezer" mused, "I see..."

The "old geezer": "Lingling, you seem to get along well with that big guy from the Second Division. Are you into men like him?"

Shen Ling, fed up: "Yeah! That's exactly my type! I love them!"

The "old geezer" felt his own biceps, which weren't nearly as bulging, then went home and quietly picked up a barbell.
