Blurb:
A young, wolfish crime squad captain as the top × an intellectual profiling expert as the bottom. Age gap, with the top younger.
Five years ago, Shen Lin suddenly insisted on leaving the Jingtaishi Public Security Bureau. No one knew why. After that, the genius young forensic doctor seemed to vanish from the face of the earth, and no one heard from him again.
The criminal investigation squad retrieved a faceless corpse from the East Lake docks. With the case at a dead end, Lu Yanfeng, the criminal investigation squad captain, known for his hard-nosed style, stood on the office balcony, smoking in frustration.
A tall figure, damp from the rainy night, slowly pushed open the door to the criminal investigation office. The newcomer had sharp features and a clean, crisp presence, like the cold white light of a star on an autumn night.
For no reason, Lu Yanfeng felt his heart stir.
Back in Jingtaishi to investigate the truth, Shen Lin was willing to put himself in danger. This reckless move drew fierce disapproval from the bureau's leadership.
Just as all their efforts were about to go to waste, Lu Yanfeng stormed into the director's office without hesitation. He swept in with the force of a storm and slapped the evidence down on the table. "I refuse to let Shen Lin be taken off the case. The team needs him."
Later, to thank Lu Yanfeng, Shen Lin treated him to a meal.
At the time, Captain Lu had just finished showering. Drying his dripping hair, he asked Shen, the profiler, "Are you paying me back?"
Shen Lin: "Yes."
Lu Yanfeng ran his tongue over his canine. "Good. Then marry me."
After a moment's silence, the great profiler Shen seemed to finally make up his mind about something. "All right!"
No problematic content, so read with confidence and enjoy the couple and the story.
Theme: I have seen the world, and the world has seen me.
