Blurb:

Xie Yuzhi, the newly appointed deputy captain of the Jingtai City Criminal Investigation Unit, is a cold, forceful workaholic with an iron will. During a raid, he runs into Zong Xin, who is exactly his type.

Seeing Zong Xin shiver in the wind, with half his face covered in blood, Xie Yuzhi picks him up without a word and carries him to the police vehicle. His voice is indifferent as he asks, "Cold?"

Zong Xin looks up, completely unconcerned. The blood on his pale face looks like a red spider lily blooming quietly in the night.

Xie Yuzhi's heart misses half a beat.

Much later, Xie Yuzhi falls silent as he stares at the stunningly beautiful face in the photo on the Jingtai Criminal Investigation Unit's internal network. It belongs to the unit's former deputy captain.

Just how many things is his boyfriend, Zong Xin, keeping from him?

A supposedly abstinent (crossed out) devoted-to-his-wife straight man seme X a beautiful, powerful, tragic (crossed out) sweet, satisfying, flirtatious uke

Fact: Sheng Yang's codename is Three Flowers.

Therefore: Xie Yuzhi's nickname for Captain Sheng is Little Flower.
