Occult Expert Goes Viral Livestreaming a Dating Show

The matchmaking variety show Are You Daring Enough to Hold My Hand? became a massive hit after just one episode. Everyone soared to fame, except Song Yu.

She was targeted by a malicious edit that dug up dirt on her. She was accused of stealing men and hogging the camera on the show, acting like a diva and chasing money off-camera, and even throwing herself at men.

As expected, the entire internet turned against her.

Song the Immortal had transmigrated into a book. Looking at her own miserable situation, she pinched her fingers to calculate her fortune:

Extremely unlucky!

She'd been sacrificed by a villain. The worse her life got, the more popular the show would become.

But breaking her contract would mean paying an exorbitant penalty. Song Yu had no intention of being the one left holding the bag, so she gave the camera a kindly smile.

From that day on, the show took a sudden turn.

A greasy man who'd studied overseas put on a lovesick act and planned a sweltering outdoor walk, calling it a romantic way to get to know each other.

But Song Yu never showed up.

Netizens: She's over on the next street playing peacemaker! The guy cheated, kept a mistress, and had a son with her, except the kid wasn't even the mistress's!

The livestream chat filled with people rushing off to watch the drama unfold.

To stop the same thing from happening again, the production team deliberately paired the greasy guy with Song Yu for an outing. They even planned a public proposal to make everyone cringe.

But neither of them showed up.

Netizens: You won't believe this, but I'm watching more drama again. This time it's a breakup-and-suicide threat at the police station. The woman is so lovesick she refuses to break up, no matter what. Then Song Yu said something to her, and her expression changed instantly. She ran off right there.

After a few incidents like that, the production team stopped holding outdoor activities and switched to indoor team-building.

But the netizens weren't buying it.

At first:

The show documented the making of a high-level romance game, like a documentary.

Now:

This script is so cheesy!

Why not let Song Yu go out for a walk instead? She might stumble across some juicy gossip!

Before long, the indoor dating show was a bust. The livestream cut out that day, and countless netizens cried:

What could possibly be happening that I can't watch as a member?!

Is it Song Yu?! Please, I just want to see some gossip!
