After a Yandere Ghost Took an Interest in Me

March 11, 2024: This story is also titled Peeping.

To save money, Luo Chenzhou moves into a shared rental.

Aside from the dim lighting, cramped space, leaky ceiling, and poor soundproofing, everything else is great... After all, you can't expect too much from a place that costs only 200 a month.

But after he moves in, his life starts getting strange.

First, the son of a company president he's had a dispute with dies mysteriously. Then he keeps seeing the backs of people who are already dead...

And whenever he returns to the rental, he feels a powerful, bone-chilling gaze lingering behind him!

"..."

He suspects someone is spying on him, but his friends all say he's just stressed and imagining things. They even want to have him committed to a psychiatric hospital!

Only Luo Chenzhou knows he isn't imagining it.

Nobody believes him, but he really did find a small, pitch-black hole in the wall of the rental.

In the unit next door, a pair of terrifying red eyes keeps watching him through the hole!

"..."

"..."

Luo Chenzhou doesn't understand why nobody believes what he says. But he doesn't want to keep living every day with hallucinations, on edge, and treated with suspicion.

After contacting the landlord and never getting a reply, Luo Chenzhou finally knocks on the door next door.

The door opens. A refined, polite young man stands there, his skin frighteningly pale in the dim light.

The boy is courteous and invites Luo Chenzhou inside with a smile.

The moment Luo Chenzhou steps into the neighboring unit, his phone screen lights up.

Landlord: What are you talking about? There's no unit next to yours. Isn't it just the main road?

And the message was sent a week ago.
