Yokohama's Sweet Moon Is Disqualified

Enter at your own risk. This is genuinely weird, really weird!

A crossover of Bungo Stray Dogs, Durarara!!, and some obscure anime, mixed with old-school angsty teen fiction and chuunibyou. There will be angst and fluff, but the ending is not a bad ending.

Kirishima Kurizuki: I'm Yokohama's sweet little donut, but I carry a blade.

To Dazai Osamu, Kirishima Kurizuki is his green-eyed moon.

To Nakahara Chuuya, Kirishima Kurizuki is cherished family.

To Fyodor, Kirishima Kurizuki is his anchor and the new god he has created.

And Mori Ougai thinks Kirishima Kurizuki is his sharpest blade.

Orihara Izaya sees through him: Kirishima Kurizuki is a fellow misfit who pretends to be inhuman alongside him.

Many years later, looking back on the first half of his life, Kirishima Kurizuki thinks it was a real struggle.

His elementary school teacher was a sadist named Fyodor.

His middle school teacher was a drama queen named Dazai Osamu.

He had two high school teachers: one was his black-hearted, rotten boss Mori Ougai, and the other was Ikebukuro's most evil man, Orihara Izaya.

All in all, it's a miracle he grew up without turning into a psychopath.

Basically, it's an inspirational story about a kid who somehow gets taken in by the Sheep, somehow joins the Port Mafia, and somehow becomes an executive.

The first half is an innocent first love so fragile it hurts to touch. The second half is about how people influence and change one another, and the ending is about growing up and coming to terms with oneself.

Warnings and some explanations are in the author's notes for Chapter One. In short, there is angst, and this is a genuine love triangle. Run while you can!!

Theme: Growing up means falling apart and shouldering burdens, while love means respect and restraint, understanding, compromise, and knowing what not to compromise on.
