After accidentally hitting the wrong person, Chu Jiayu owed his new classmate a favor.

The new classmate, Duan Qingrang, was a good student, patient and gentle with others, but a bit of a simpleton who was easily bullied.

School tough guy Chu Jiayu: How can I allow that?! Let me protect you!

Chu Jiayu happily took him in as his "underling."

When Chu Jiayu fell asleep, Duan Qingrang would cover him with a jacket.

When he was thirsty, Duan Qingrang would bring him water.

When his feet hurt, Duan Qingrang would massage them.

When he struggled with his studies, Duan Qingrang would step in to help.

Chu Jiayu: My underling is handsome and takes such good care of me. I love him so much =W=

After graduation, the two went their separate ways, but they often kept in touch on WeChat.

Chu Jiayu had to take a part-time job to pay off a huge debt.

At an upscale club, waiter Chu Jiayu pushed open a private-room door and saw his creditor bending over to pour Duan Qingrang a drink.

The eyes that usually held a faint smile were now ice-cold. "Didn't I tell you to keep your people in line and stop asking him for money?"

Chu Jiayu: "...Huh?"

How did the poor little guy become like this?!

Later, after being taken home, Chu Jiayu was bullied until he was close to tears, listening as Duan Qingrang called him "Brother Chu" again and again.
