The Beautiful Widower Everyone Covets

The bottom is an unparalleled beauty, powerful, highly intelligent, and stacked with every advantage imaginable.

The top is his boss.

One day, after never missing work for five years, the bottom is suddenly late. He arrives at the office with a cold expression and reports on his work to his subordinates and boss.

A subordinate gets a number wrong. Just as everyone expects him to reprimand them coldly, tears suddenly stream down his face.

"..."

The top forcibly suppresses his urge to comfort him and the scream in his heart, Ahhhh, he looks so beautiful when he cries! In a calm voice, he asks, "What's wrong?"

The bottom turns his head away, his voice choked with sobs. "My husband is critically ill."

The top: "Your husband died? That's great!"

The bottom: "?"

The top: "Oh, that's not what I meant. I'm so sorry your husband is sick. Life is unpredictable. My condolences. If you don't want to go back to a place full of sad memories, you can stay at my place."

The bottom: "..."?

My husband is only critically ill. He hasn't died yet.

The top comes from an excellent background. Before becoming the bottom's boss, he was once his student. He tried desperately to stand out as a young man, but the bottom never remembered him.

Every day and night away from the bottom, whether his eyes were open or closed, all he could see was the bottom's haughty, aloof yet thoughtful and gentle manner as he instructed his students.

And also...

The way he tenderly straightened his husband's collar.

**

Your husband's critical illness sure came at a convenient time.
