I'm Clumsy, but I Run the Demon Bureau Cafeteria!

On her first day after transmigrating, Ling Qi was forced to take over the cafeteria contracted by her family.

The workplace was far away in the middle of nowhere.

No shopping malls nearby, no subway stations in sight.

No food delivery, no ride-hailing apps.

The employees were picky and temperamental. In just one week, they'd driven off five chefs. They'd yelled several big, burly men to tears, and even when Ling Qi offered them more money, they wouldn't take the job.

Ling Qi hadn't believed the rumors at first.

Until she saw an employee who'd eaten chili peppers breathe fire...

After being ground down by a 996 work schedule in her previous life, humble wage slave Ling Qi never imagined she could end up in a work environment this vile!

With no other choice, Ling Qi decided to grab a spatula and take over herself. As long as they didn't mind that she was hopeless in the kitchen.

On her first day cooking, Ling Qi burned the beef. She thought that was the end of it.

But then! More and more people started showing up at the cafeteria, and things took a turn like this:

"I absolutely LOVE this mango and lychee stir-fried beef!"

"Chef! Why isn't there pork intestine bread today?"

"Ten orders of cold dressed dried shrimp, please!"

"Cilantro ice cream!!!"

Ling Qi thought her business venture had failed, but by doing everything backward, she became a master chef and rose to the peak of her career.

She looked at the scheming bureau chief who showed up at the cafeteria every day. "Why are your demon clan's tastes so weird?"
