I Once Loved You

"Thirteen pages of sincerity, and regrets that can never be fully expressed."

Thirteen yellowed love letters, not one of them ever sent. Ye Ziming never imagined that the letters she'd written with all her love, staying up late by lamplight at her bedroom desk, would end up hidden beneath her bed, where no sunlight could reach.

Perhaps because he was the child of a martyr, Zhan Yunchuan was naturally warmhearted. In his eyes, helping Ye Ziming, whose legs were impaired, was just a small kindness, nothing worth remembering.

Ye Ziming admired his sense of justice, and the unique freedom and abandon about him. He was like a superhero, someone who could handle anything.

She saw him as a role model, a goal to strive for, and, more than anything, her emotional support.

After graduating from high school, she finally worked up the courage to confess. But when an all-around expert like Zhan Yunchuan stood before her and calmly asked what she wanted, she grew too afraid and backed down.

Ye Ziming didn't give up. She came up with all sorts of excuses and organized more than ten class reunions, all just to see him...

Ye Ziming didn't know what she was waiting for. Perhaps all she wanted was to hear Zhan Yunchuan say her name.
