1.
The moment Teng Fushi opened his eyes, he saw someone lying beside him who looked seven or eight parts like him. Before he could think it over, a cold, mechanical female voice rang through the lightless chamber.
"Welcome, players, to Divine Anecdotes. Please draw your cards in turn to obtain your identity information."
Teng Fushi didn't draw a card, but the last two cards automatically appeared in his and the other lookalike's hands.
2.
Teng Fushi raised an eyebrow and looked at the colorful Joker in his hand, then instinctively glanced at Shen Yuzhao. As it happened, the other man was also looking at him with interest. The two of them flipped their playing cards over in perfect sync.
Clutching the gray Joker, Shen Yuzhao gave an inscrutable chuckle. "What a coincidence."
Teng Fushi smiled too. "Quite a coincidence."
3.
Even more coincidentally, they had both drawn the cards for the leaders of the two opposing sides, as well as the two protagonist cards.

Scene One
A sleeping, pitiful princess awaits a handsome, brave prince to awaken him with a kiss of true love.
Teng, the Pitiful Princess, Fushi: Here's a joke: I'm cosplaying as Sleeping Beauty in an escape game.
Shen, the Handsome Prince, Yuzhao: Ha! Whoever wants to be this prince can do it. I'd rather die than kiss him.
4.
In the unseen night, Shen Yuzhao pinned the "Sleeping Beauty" against the wall. His voice was hoarse, and his dark eyes fixed on him like he was prey within reach.
"Captain Teng, this time it's a real kiss of true love. How about one?"
No one answered in the quiet night. The only sound was a faint, unsteady breath.
