Desire Runs Wild

Chen Yuan + X + Qi Zexiao

An anti-hustle, easygoing top x a hardworking overachiever bottom

A playboy meets another playboy. Whoever falls first loses.

[If love means losing yourself, then forget it.]

Top's point of view, melodramatic beginning, realistic ending.

Excerpt 1:

"...Are you planning to end things with me?"

"What?"

"This is your home, but you haven't been back in a long time."

Excerpt 2:

"Qi Zexiao... I love you."

"Don't come back."

Qi Zexiao paused, his trembling fingertips resting on the cold doorknob. He didn't move.

He stood there in silence for a full minute, without turning around. Chen Yuan had never known a minute could feel so long, so long that even breathing hurt.

At last, Qi Zexiao wiped the tears from his cheek and turned to Chen Yuan with a radiant smile. "...I love you too."
