The Jade Water Clock Runs Late

[Blurb needs revision, character settings tentative]

Sweet, timid little wallflower x gloomy, obsessive prince

Yu Shu was a lowly palace maid. The only thing that set her apart was her cloudlike, luxuriant hair and her jade-like beauty.

Even in a palace filled with beauties, she stood out from the rest.

As the princes grew older, they needed more maids to serve them.

Yu Shu was assigned to the Third Prince.

But that very night, Yu Shu had a dream.

In it, the moody and sinister Fourth Prince bullied her every which way.

When Yu Shu woke up, she was terrified. She went to the Fourth Prince of her own accord and tried with all her might to win his favor.

But... why was she still the one getting bullied in the end?
