Don't Be So Mean, I'm Scared

[A foul-tempered, cocky, big bad wolf of a young master top x a soft, pitiful young master bottom who's a master at training dogs]

When Zhu Ning was three, his mother died. Less than half a year later, his father married his stepmother.

That was how Zhu Ning ended up with a younger brother, one year his junior. His father doted on the younger boy and disliked him.

Zhu Ning often went hungry, until his mother's best friend took him in. Auntie said she had an older boy at home who would take good care of him.

The only problem was, she'd heard that the older boy had a bad temper. Zhu Ning was a little afraid he might yell at him.

Jiang Lie, the five-year-old young master of the Jiang family, had a terrible temper. He'd always hated soft, weak creatures and couldn't be bothered to even look at them.

Then one day, his mother brought home a child and said she hoped he would take good care of him.

A three-year-old bundle, tiny and soft, leaving a dent when you poked him. He cried at the drop of a hat and wouldn't eat properly.

The child hid behind his mother's back, tears trembling in his eyes, and timidly called him "Big Brother."

When Jiang Lie went back to school, a little shadow followed behind him.

His classmates noticed that their bad-tempered young master Jiang had become a different person over the summer. He'd turned... into a nagging old woman.

"Don't shout. He gets scared."

"Crouch down when you talk to him. He's timid."

"Don't just feed him whatever you like. His lunchbox is in my bag!"

The boys crouched in a row, gently coaxing the child, while the girls eagerly wanted to pinch his cheeks.

Wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, the soft little bundle nestled in his big brother's arms. He turned around and buried his face.

Everyone knows that President Jiang is domineering and bad-tempered, and never goes easy on anyone. Even in meetings, he looks ready to charge out and pick a fight.

But when it comes to Zhu Ning, the man reins in his murderous aura. Like a tiger soothed, he holds the young man and nuzzles him all over.

"Who did you go drinking with today?"

"A few clients from work."

"They know your stomach's bad and still made you drink. Were they trying to, beep!"

The man suddenly raised his voice, only to have his mouth covered before he could finish cursing.

"I only had a sip... Don't be so fierce. I'm scared."

Jiang Lie, back then: I hate crybabies who act pitiful!

Jiang Lie, later: What did Ningning do wrong? He just got scared!
