Terence always manages to bring us unexpected surprises

"Terence carries the ball forward, deftly gets past the last defender! He shoots! Gooooooooal!!! It's in! Terence scores the winning goal for River Plate in the 88th minute! A last-second winner!"

"Atahualpa passes to Terence, he shoots! Goooooooooool! After scoring in the 14th minute, Terence finds the back of the net again to complete his brace! The score is now 2:0!"

Sometimes you just have to marvel: he's the perfect player, born to score goals.

The Chronicle: Argentine wonderkid transfers from River Plate to Arsenal for 15 million pounds!

"I'm looking forward to my new life at Arsenal."

Fresh from winning the Copa Libertadores in South America, the player let his true nature shine in North London, delighting Arsenal fans again and again with performances beyond compare.

"Honestly, when he first came to London, I had no faith in him at all. But look at his performances over the last few matches!"

"He's an absolute genius! Sometimes we have to admire Wenger's eye for talent. He brought us this 19-year-old prodigy. I can only be glad he didn't go to Tottenham."

Making the senior national team at 19 was a dream start to a player's career. And on top of that, Terence claimed almost every youth award that year.

But everyone has to go through a rough patch sometime.

Argentina suffered a disappointing World Cup campaign in Brazil, and Terence returned to the Premier League injured and carrying that grief with him. Because of his injury, by the time half a season had passed, there was no longer a place for him in the team's starting lineup. Fans couldn't help but begin to doubt his ability.

But the doubts only spurred Terence onward. He firmly believed that one day he would shine brighter than ever.

"Without a doubt, I'm confident about my future."

"Before we begin the interview, congratulations on having been with Arsenal for ten years."

"Thank you," Terence replied with a catlike smile.

"Your current contract with Arsenal expires at the end of this season, and the summer transfer window has now opened. So the question fans are most eager to hear answered is: will you renew your contract with the club?"

"About that... Although my agent won't let me say anything publicly, I still want to say a few words. I grew up watching Arsenal play, and becoming a Gunner has always been one of my dreams. Another of my dreams is to keep renewing my contract with Arsenal until I retire."

[Important Notes]!!!:

1. This is the work of a complete beginner!! I never even got 40 points on a composition. It's just a little story written for fun. I write whatever comes to mind, so there'll be a lot of day-to-day details.

2. I'll look up most things that I can find information on! If I can't find it or the timeline gets mixed up, I'll make it up. For things that do exist, like FIFA, if I haven't played it, I'll just invent things.

3. I'm writing this because there wasn't a novel I wanted to read, or it had stopped updating. So I'm starting one myself. It's my own protagonist and my own story.

4. This is going to be a long story!! I plan to cover his whole career, probably around twenty years... So don't be scared if the author suddenly disappears! And don't be scared if I suddenly come back from the dead! I'm not even sure if I can finish it...

5. The author is in high school! Don't be surprised if I disappear for a long, long time. But I'll update every now and then or work out some plot ideas. Either way, I'll put my heart into this.

6. I have no chapters saved up, so updates will come when they come. Sometimes I don't update because I'm lazy, and sometimes it's because the new chapter isn't long enough.

7. If you want to read this after it's finished, please make sure you outlive the author. After all, the author is only a teenager right now (dog).

8. I'm a total armchair fan. I only started watching soccer with the 2022 World Cup, so there are a lot of things I don't know yet! Please correct me if you spot any mistakes! Thank you!
