I'm Not Falling in Love with You!

HxH solo-series fanfic, complete. A heads-up: The romantic ending is open (but the protagonist has her own romantic inclinations). The four original protagonists have few appearances, while the villains, led by the Phantom Troupe, feature heavily. → The female lead on the cover is drawn in chibi style, an anime death-flag big sister! Synopsis: If Sessino ever accepted a boy's confession, no, she would never accept anyone's confession! It's not because she thinks, "I have a tragic past, so I can't be loved." It's simply because... If she accepts someone's confession, sometimes she hasn't accepted it at all! Before long, she'll "die in an accident" in one way or another! Sessino tries to make each of her online sessions last as long as possible. Her survival rule for today remains: "I'm not dating you!" [I don't even want to hear you confess!] After accumulating who knows how many "accidental death" experiences and "living in the moment" under a curse that makes life and love mutually exclusive, one day she suddenly learns: "That's not a curse. It's a Nen ability." -Survival difficulty takes a sudden leap after that day- During the days when she expertly rejected the confessions of several men in an attempt to stay alive: "Sorry, I can't go out with you." A certain second-shortest member of the Spider Troupe (his phoenix eyes nearly narrowed to slits): "I'm giving you a chance to say that again." "I don't think we're right for each other." The troupe leader (looking up from his book): "Hm? What was that? I didn't hear you." "I don't think that's love. I think you want to kill me." The fruit farmer (cupping his chin in his hands): "How is longing for a delicious fruit not love?" And then: "You're a good person!" A good man who's young but looks older than his years (secretly wiping the tears from the corner of his eye): "I understand. When I become a man who can stand on his own, I'll confess to you again!" Unable to stop the black-suited figure as he walked away, Sessino said helplessly, "You really are a good person! I was going to say yes!" (She thought her world was Final Destination, but it's actually spiders, ants, and Nen abilities. Who knows which is more dangerous?) P.S. The female lead is a native of this world. She just has a somewhat eventful past. She doesn't know how the plot will unfold and has no omniscient perspective. One warning: this isn't a monogamous-purity romance, especially when it comes to the female lead. She is very much not chaste (though everyone knows the characters' backgrounds in this world, but it still needs to be said). ★I'd also like to recommend my original novel: The Years the Demon King Went Undercover (a niche work) Theme: Don't surrender to fate or blindly follow others!
