Batman Fights the White Bone Demon Three Times, but It's Love?

After being written off in the Journey to the West production, the Bone Demon opened her eyes again and accidentally drifted into a foreign land as a spirit. She was forced to attach herself to the corpse of a woman in a dark alley in Gotham City, and her magic stopped working.

Fortunately, in Gotham's culinary wasteland, she soon found a new hunting target: a rare delicacy as richly blessed with merit as Tang Sanzang, the nighttime vigilante Batman.

She was going to eat him. Literally.

Ever since his secretary returned from vacation, Bruce Wayne had felt that something about her was off. Was it her pay and benefits? Did she want to change jobs?

He recalled the way she looked at him: as if he were a dish.

◆ Reader's Guide ◆

1. A short-to-medium-length story: she runs, he chases, they both reveal their identities, and things stay light.

2. Why pair them up? They're both dark creatures who are active at night, and the bones in the Batcave add to the atmosphere :D

3. Since the Bone Demon was just a bit player in Journey to the West, this story takes plenty of liberties. Heaven knows she's a good demon, so readers, please tell good from evil. She's just a little greedy, and lately she's been trapped in the body of an overworked human office lady and is nearly starving to death.

4. The male lead is a very green young Bat who has only just started the job. By day, he plays the carefree playboy; by night, he's a gloomy, earnest little vigilante who works like a dog. His look is a blend of the Keaton and Bale movie versions of Batman. For the comics, the references are Batman: Year One and Batman: The Long Halloween.

5. The extras will feature the Batfamily, but I haven't written them yet (runs away holding a pot over my head) (screams).

6. This is a matchmaking story told in the style of romance fiction, and at its heart it's an ordinary, silly romantic comedy. The recipe may seem odd, but the flavor isn't outrageous or explosive, so trust me!!! Be brave and try a bite! (sincere wink) (serves up a plate)
