[Gotham] Kill That Fake Childhood Sweetheart

You said, with the moon as our witness, that you would love me forever.

But, sweetheart, the moon waxes and wanes.

How many cycles can your vow last?

Once,

then again,

after countless times,

I will keep coming back to life,

until I drag you down to hell with me.

That is the wedding hall meant for us.

After all, between us, it's either dying together or killing each other.

There is no third ending.

◆ Reading Guide ◆

① A gloomy, volatile, yandere puppy x a calm investigator with emotional detachment.

② This is a prequel to The Gotham Mad Dog Observation Log, the story next door in my collection.

③ A collection of interconnected short stories. An unconventional, twisted romance, featuring plenty of the male lead's monologues and the female lead's narration in counterpoint, with a mixed style.

④ It blends and deconstructs the origins of various versions of the Joker, with a focus on Jerome Valeska from the TV series Gotham.

⑤ Note: This is an annual series, and the quality varies. The story I most recommend is the ongoing installment, Death in the Afternoon.

⑥ I really want to cook up a story that will get people into Gotham, but it's hard to do that from the Arctic Circle.

Theme: I swear by the moon that I will hate you forever.
