My next novel will be Can't Handle Two Number Ones. Please add it to your favorites. * Deep in an S-rank contaminated zone, there's a sanatorium open exclusively to battle beasts. As Blue Star's fighting machines, battle beasts abandon their humanity and fight monsters without end. -- They're violent and bloodthirsty, have lost their sanity, and suffer from severe psychological disorders. They need treatment for both their bodies and their minds. - Therapists are scarce at the sanatorium, until one day a human abandoned by his teammates arrives. "Hello, I'm the new therapist." - The human looked pityingly at the battle beast, which was on the verge of death yet still baring its huge jaws at him. "Don't worry, I'm not exactly a professional." "But your situation can't get any worse." - At first, everyone thought this therapist, who couldn't even fight off a chicken, would die in the contaminated zone on his very first day. - But the sickly therapist slung a bow over his shoulder, picked up a woodcutting knife, and ventured into the forest deep in the contaminated zone. He chopped off a monster's head, dug out its core, and rescued a missing battle beast. - Livestream chat: [This therapist is a hero of Blue Star!] Other explorers' livestreams: Surviving in the jungle. The therapist's livestream: Foraging in the mountains! - The viewers got fired up: [Contaminated zones on other planets keep expanding, but Blue Star's contaminated zone is shrinking!] Analysis team: [It's all because the therapist ate them!] - That's right. The starving therapist entered the contaminated zone, saw spirit plants and spirit beasts covering the mountains, and wiped away his drool. "I'm hungry. I want to eat." - The monsters: "..." Shaking in their boots! - *Foraging in the mountains, fighting monsters and leveling up, and petting fluffy creatures along the way. The three of them grew up together and were very close. In kindergarten, they slept in a row, with Chu Lechuan in the middle. When they got home from elementary school, the three of them crowded around the dining table to do their homework, with Chu Lechuan still sitting in the middle. In high school, after Chu Lechuan realized his sexual orientation, he began keeping his distance from his two childhood friends. But the two of them still came to see him every day. Whenever the three of them studied together, Chu Lechuan was still squeezed between them, with so little room that he could barely move his hand to write. Chu Lechuan started to think something was off. He was honest with his two childhood friends: "I'm gay. I like men." He thought that would make them understand they should keep their distance, but they clung to him even more? At first, Yang Siyuan smiled. "I don't understand why you like men, but that's your choice. We're best friends, and that won't make us grow distant." Gu Song'an nodded. "Same here." Later, Yang Siyuan took away the love letter Chu Lechuan had written to someone else. "You can like men if you want, but if you're going to chase after a jerk, I can't just sit back and watch." Gu Song'an agreed wholeheartedly. "Same here." Later still, Chu Lechuan realized he'd fallen for his childhood friends, but both of them were completely straight! So he secretly changed his university choices and fled to a school two thousand kilometers away. Yang Siyuan caught up with him in the airport terminal, furious. "Lechuan, why are you running? If you really want a relationship and want to find a man, can't you consider me? For you, I could bend a little." Gu Song'an ran after them and, as usual, squeezed in on the other side. He nodded. "Yeah, yeah, same here!" Yang Siyuan: "..." Chu Lechuan: "..." Screenshot saved on 20240316 Theme: Even in hardship, strive to improve and surpass yourself!
