Ji Yanbei held her in place with one hand. His stunning face looked even colder and more restrained in the darkness, his expression unreadable.
"I never listen to explanations." His cool fingers brushed her cheek. His ambition and scheming were plain to see, his madness and cruelty even plainer. "Since you're not afraid to die, come play a big game with me."
