[Please add my next novels, "Storms in This World" and "Control," to your reading list]
He Jiaqi would always remember the first time she went out with Wang Mo. The night breeze was chilly, leaving her face and hands cold, while his hand was warm.
Wang Mo first approached He Jiaqi because he wanted to conquer her. The colder and more evasive she was, the more he wanted to have her.
He was a bad man. Didn't she despise him?
Then he would drag her, pure and spotless, down with him. They'd become the same kind of person, and neither could look down on the other.
He just never thought that, in the end, he would truly fall in love with her.
A short story in the "Peach Blossoms" series, He Jiaqi x Wang Mo

#By angst, I mean the main story has a tragic ending. The sweet parts are still very sweet.
#The extra chapters have both tragic and happy endings. If you can't handle angst, choose the happy-ending extra. If you can, don't miss the tragic-ending extra.
#If you want to read both, start with the tragic ending.

"Storms in This World"
Xin Mi first met He Yu at the He family's New Year's Eve dinner. He was her fiancé's cousin, just back from studying abroad.
Though he respectfully called her sister-in-law, there wasn't a hint of affection in his indifferent eyes. He was clearly refined and distinguished, courteous and aloof, yet seemed harmless and no threat at all.
With just one glance, she decided to find a different groom.
He Yu had always believed his marriage to Xin Mi was an arrangement of mutual benefit. Once they'd both gotten what they wanted, they would part ways and go their separate paths.
Who would have thought that just one month into the marriage, he'd want to move into the master bedroom?
Three months in, he could no longer stand seeing anyone else try to charm her.
Especially his cousin, who had jumped into the fire pit. He had only one thought on his mind: he wanted to burn him to ashes.
A little scene:
Six months into their marriage, He Yu thought Xin Mi had fallen for him and planned to build a life with her. But by chance, he overheard her telling a friend that she had no feelings for him, and that they were together simply because they were a good match.
That night, He Yu pinned her down in the bedroom.
A long while later, Xin Mi pressed a hand against his chest and said seriously, "This is the second time. I have a meeting tomorrow morning."
He Yu gripped her waist and pressed down, his voice low and his expression blank. "Once a week is too little."
Xin Mi looked up at him. "What do you want?"
He Yu: "Four, five, six, seven, or eight times. Pick one."
Xin Mi: "..."
Theme: A reformed playboy is worth his weight in gold
Be is so energizing after reading it that I feel like I haven't recovered yet. The author's writing style is very good. I feel like I haven't read enough yet and I'm looking for sugar in the glass. Although I really want them to be together and I like he, but be is more suitable.
This be is very adaptable to development and acceptable, but I like him. The process is already very painful, so of course the ending should be happy.
I think he is more comfortable! The author is such a breath of fresh air. He wrote a good story in just over thirty chapters. As simple but wonderful as the beginning
After watching he, I regretted watching be. At this moment, I realized that I still like he more. Be has too much stamina (I cried until I swelled into a pig's head)
At first I only watched he, but after a few days I couldn't help but watch be. It was probably because he had the confidence to do it, and he didn't feel uncomfortable as he imagined. It's so well written. I especially like the heroine. She is strong, gentle, beautiful and independent. It's really beautiful. The two had estrangements and separations during their relationship, but there was no inexplicable plot about chasing his wife in the article. Instead, they were determined to be together, which made me feel more truly moved. That's all, I'm looking forward to the next one.
The author stayed up all night to read it. When I saw "be", I really wanted to curse. Hahahahaha, I also burst into tears. When I read Wang Mo's cry, I couldn't help but cry. Because I understand so well the feeling of regret and powerlessness when the person I love is gone, so I really empathized with him. Finally, I read "he" and was cured. I really like this novel, and I also like He Jiaqi and Wang Mo. Thank you for meeting the author of this novel.
Very good writing, not cliché
Very nice, not cliché! The writing is very good~
I can't stand be, so I skipped watching he. (?ω?)Hiahiahia, can you tell me more about the life of a family of three?
This is really the most appetizing novel I have ever read! I'll be sure to follow the author in the future. I can't stand be. If I had known, I should have seen he first. I feel so uncomfortable now that I can't calm down for a long time. But I still really like the author and the male and female protagonists created by the author. I don't care, I don't care, be is fake and he is real????
