Hong Kong's Number One Fortune Teller [The 1980s]

(I'll probably revise this blurb later, but I'll post it for now. Please add it to your collection.)

After waking up, Ye Yining, hailed as the greatest fortune-teller in the world and able to cut off the past and divine the future, discovers that she has transmigrated to Hong Kong in the 1980s and become an extra in a film crew.

From then on, the entertainment industry loses a diligent, unknown actress, while Hong Kong gains a fortune-teller whose predictions never miss.

"You say we shouldn't start filming, so we don't start? You say there's going to be a fire, and I'm supposed to believe you?" the director grumbles.

A few minutes later, the props explode, and flames shoot everywhere.

The director, drenched in sweat, rushes over to her. "Master, help me figure out which day would be best to start filming."

An unknown extra asks her, looking unconvinced, "Can I really become a superstar? Don't lie to me."

A year later, now a hugely popular star, he says with admiration on a talk show, "I have to thank Ye Yining. She said my career luck was good. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to keep going."

Ye Yining's name gradually spreads from the entertainment industry to the circles of the wealthy, and then throughout Hong Kong.

All kinds of admirers start gathering around her: heirs from prestigious families, superstar idols, well-known writers...

An entertainment reporter thrusts a microphone toward her. "Master Ye, are you still single?"

Thinking of someone's persistence, Ye Yining smiles faintly at the camera, deciding to give him some reassurance. "Of course not. I've already found the one destined for me."
