You're Crushing My Tender Sprout

-

Ling Xiao played an app about past and present lives, and unexpectedly became a trumpet creeper in an abandoned village. He spent his days soaking up the sun and enjoying the scenery, living a wonderfully carefree life.

He liked talking to the other plants in the courtyard and complimenting them, entertaining himself.

Then one day, a massive English ivy aggressively invaded the courtyard. It spread everywhere, blocking the sunlight from the other plants, which soon all died.

Ling Xiao was frantic: Brother Ivy, no! You're blocking my sunlight!

Maybe it was just his imagination, but the ivy seemed to leave him some space.

Ling Xiao grew bolder and started claiming territory: Brother Ivy, you're crushing my tender shoots. Move over just a little.

The ivy's tender branches changed direction, and Ling Xiao rudely took over the newly opened space. Day after day, the two grew together, eventually taking over the whole abandoned village.

A drone occasionally caught pictures from above. Among the vast expanse of green ivy, only one fiery red trumpet creeper stood out in the middle, growing especially well.
