My name is Qinghe Siyue, but my birthday is in June.

Some guy who claimed to be the Third Witch said I had to give him my eyes, or something bad would happen.

I'm usually pretty dismissive of that kind of thing. Come on, I'm a staunch materialist.

But then something bad really did happen.

If I had another chance, I'd cling to the Witch's leg and beg him to save me. Oh, you're wondering why I said "him"? Because this witch is a man.

With the All-Seeing Eyes, I became a detective and used my cheat skill to bully everyone.

Then I may have taken it too far.

Siyue, being hunted: Hehe ;) I'm so careless.

Siyue: That's not what I mean! The Witch still owes me a wish XD

Siyue: I love a good deus ex machina... though it doesn't have to be an actual machine god.

The Third Witch: You should be glad you get one! Stop being so picky!

Everyone else: And you still call yourself a staunch materialist!

Qinghe means Siyue. I originally wanted to call her Qinghe Yiri or Qinghe Chuyi, which would also be another way of saying April Fools' Day, but I decided against it. Otherwise, I feel like I'd kill myself before I killed you all.

The Third Witch is the Sun in the Sun, Moon, and Stars series in my collection. He symbolizes omnipotence and really can descend like a deus ex machina. He's invincible and can force his way to a happy ending under any circumstances. He has a fixation on collecting magic eyes, including eyes that can see through the past and future. You can check out the neighboring story, too.

There's no CP for now. If I write one in, I'll change the tags to romance.

Whether Siyue ends up single depends on whether they'll fight over the pen. Siyue is also the one who needs someone to support her financially.

I got a sudden burst of inspiration and started this story with no chapters saved up. It's an all-new version.
