One month after starting, Yamazaki Natsukashi attended the new employee training. But could someone explain to him why this company’s training involved target practice and destroying evidence?

Yamazaki Natsukashi decided to stick it out until the end of his probation, and look for another job while keeping this one. He couldn’t afford to lose his source of income.

Three months after starting, Yamazaki Natsukashi finally became a permanent employee. But before he could find another job with little work, great pay, and close to home, the company assigned him a supervisor.

The supervisor seemed very hard to approach, but Yamazaki Natsukashi wasn’t there to make friends. He just wanted to do his job, avoid pay cuts, and not work overtime.

But it didn’t take long for Yamazaki Natsukashi to feel utterly miserable. His new supervisor kept making him work overtime, without paying him extra.

So he decided that before changing jobs, he would change supervisors.

Before he could even make that suggestion, his supervisor was replaced again. The new one was gentle and, most importantly, never made him work overtime. Yamazaki Natsukashi was very pleased.

But soon, Yamazaki Natsukashi realized his new supervisor seemed to be a corporate spy sent by a rival company. Two salaries for one job? What a sweet deal!

Yamazaki Natsukashi was thrilled. He worked hard to impress, hoping his new supervisor would take him along when he left.

That was what he wanted, but why did he have to take him along when facing a life-or-death challenge...?
