The Superpowered Queen

When Jiang Li opened her eyes again, she was lying in a hospital bed. The TV was broadcasting news of her death.

Everyone on the screen was sobbing as if their hearts had been torn apart. One person even cried so hard they had to be taken to the hospital.

“Madam, how could you bear to leave us?”

“Madam, we can't live without you. The Empire can't live without you!”

But in the hospital room, things looked like this...

Patient number one threw a tissue at the TV. “That hypocritical woman is finally dead!”

The family member of patient number two spun around three times and clapped. “Good riddance! What a wonderful death!”

Jiang Li: ??? A face full of question marks!

Hadn't the people across the country been supposed to weep with excitement whenever they saw her, the First Lady, refusing to wash their hands for a week after shaking hers, or bathe for a month after hugging her?

What was wrong with these people in the hospital room?

Or had her husband, the Empire's Marshal, shown her a false picture of prosperity while she was ill and had withdrawn from public life? Had it all been an illusion?

Having lived this life once already, she knew this city better than anyone: where the bugs and cameras were, where the gold, silver, and valuables were hidden, and where confidential information could be found.

With that knowledge, she would conquer the world all over again. This time, she would be queen.
