The White Moonlight in a World of Monsters

On her eighteenth birthday, Yu Yu received an incomparable gift: a full-dive game still in testing.

Curious, she entered the game and found a world ravaged by war.

The plants had been destroyed, the water contaminated, the earth black, and the sky gray. Even the humans were sick, their bodies taking on monstrous forms.

The whole world was so wretched it was painful to look at.

The full-dive game was so realistic that, even knowing it was only a game, Yu Yu couldn't help feeling pity for its people.

So she completed quests every day, working hard to improve the world's harsh environment. She earned coins to buy medicine and treat the humans.

Of them all, she felt the most sympathy for the little prince, who was said to have turned into a black dragon because of a curse. To cure him, she even spent a fortune buying medicine for him.

At last, her efforts paid off:

The blackened earth turned green, the ruined wasteland became a palace, and the little black dragon prince regained his human form. The astonishingly handsome man became the king of this world.

Yu Yu was deeply gratified. She felt that she had completed the game, so she decided to bow out after accomplishing her mission.

But...

Yu Yu: Huh? I can't log out?

Chi Xuan was a defeated planet, a remote border world abandoned by the Star Alliance.

As the last member of the Chi Xuan royal family, I watched my planet destroyed, my country disappear, and my people lose hope. I only wanted to sleep forever and stop caring about the world.

One day, a goddess descended from the sky.

She loved this land, pitied this fallen nation, and saved me when I had lost all hope.

For the sake of her smile, I worked hard to maintain my human form and do everything she wanted, hoping only that she would stay by my side forever.

But on the day I ascended the throne and decided to propose to her, she was going to leave.

I decided to hide her feathered robe.
