The Game Characters I Played Became My Cards

Chuchu struggled to survive in a danger zone for ten years, and finally got into a superpower academy by collecting scrap.

After all that effort, she finally made it into a superpower college. She thought she could lie flat at last, coast through school, and enjoy a happy life with a guaranteed government job after graduation.

But the number of contamination zones suddenly surged, and the Alliance announced that every college would have to take part in a live-streamed cleanup operation.

Students had to pass the selection tournament for their college to retain its teaching license. If every student was eliminated, the college would be forcibly shut down.

Chuchu had chosen Dongxia College because tuition was cheap. By the first round of the tournament, 50% of its students had already been eliminated. It looked set to become the first college knocked out.

Chuchu, facing the prospect of being forced out of school almost as soon as she'd started: ...

No! I won't let that happen!

In a fit of rage, Chuchu's potential erupted, and her superpower awakened a new card.

Unlike her first card, which could summon a wobbling Peashooter, this one showed a muscular man with a blue tank top and a huge mustache.

Chuchu: Yep, this is a sure thing.

At last, the day of the nationwide livestream arrived.

With her card-based superpower, Chuchu burst into everyone's view with a style unlike anything they'd seen before:

While other students launched frontal assaults, Chuchu carried a tiny Peashooter pistol around to the rear. It transformed into a cannon, and she ambushed the enemy.

While other students tried to coordinate their attacks, Chuchu threw a mutant mushroom at the mustached man. He transformed into a giant and started rampaging, sending the contamination creatures fleeing in every direction.

While other students discussed their attack plans, Chuchu had already teamed up with the top student at First Military Academy. Leading a squad of card-summoned guards, she stormed the contamination source's lair and destroyed the long-standing No. 9 Contamination Zone.

Dead-last Dongxia College and its classmates were carried all the way into the finals by Chuchu.

The officials and viewers watching the livestream: !!!

The Peashooter could transform into a cannon. The mustached man in the blue tank top could become a giant. The short-haired mermaid princess could dissolve into sea foam. And the transparent man, wrapped head to toe in black cloth and wearing a white mask, could open his enormous mouth and swallow contamination creatures whole...

What kind of bizarre superpower was this?!

Who was this person?!

With a godlike power to create life, could this be the hope humanity had been waiting for?

-

The superpower Chuchu awakened was actually the ability to create cards. Any game character she had played and knew well could appear as a card.

Chuchu: They're classic (outdated) games I scavenged from the scrap yard as a kid. If only I'd played more. Then I could've summoned the Great Sage. Tsk.

#Game characters I've played become my cards. The only regret is that I haven't played enough games#

#Even an utterly ordinary superpower student can be humanity's hope#

---So say the people who were saved, the colleges and students Chuchu carried, and the top student of First Military Academy.

Chuchu: OvO

I want to lie flat.

When will this finally be over?
