[Detective Conan] What to Do When Your Childhood Friend Dies

Searching, searching, searching for Jing-chan, I found Conan-chan. His height doesn't match, so I'll keep looking for Hiro-chan.

Searching, searching, searching for Jing-chan, I found a blondie-chan. His skin tone doesn't match, so I'll keep looking for Hiro-chan.

Searching, searching, searching for Jing-chan, I found Gin-chan. He's fierce and nothing like him, so I'll keep looking for Hiro-chan.

Searching, searching, searching for Jing-chan, I found a cat-eyed guy. He looks just like him. Turns out he's his big brother-chan.

Searching, searching, searching for Jing-chan, I found a phone-chan. Its screen is shattered. Turns out Jing-chan is gone! Turns out Hiro-chan is dead!

Bonus scene/interview:

What do you think of your swords?

Me: Oh, they're a bunch of lunatics I play with.

What do you think of the Black Organization?

Me: We used to be partners. Now... I think I blew them up?

What do you think of the child detective?

Me: ...He seems kind of afraid of me?

What do you think of the salaryman king?

Me: That idiot blondie didn't recognize me and thought I was a bad guy... I want to put a sack over his head :)

What do you think of your childhood friend who secretly died somewhere you couldn't see?

Me: ...I'll catch him and lock him up.

Content warnings:

1. The protagonist is powerful and has cheat abilities (I don't care, I just love power fantasies). He's chaotic neutral at first (his later alignment depends on my writing).

2. The timeline jumps around, the logic is messy, and the writing is at an elementary-school level.

3. There's a high chance of a couple, with a 90% chance it'll be Jingguang (after all, I started this story for him).

4. The police academy squad might not all survive (I really can't control my writing).

5. I won't break up canon couples or bash original characters. If you dislike any original character in this story, that's on me.

6. It crosses over with many anime series, but they won't appear much. You don't need to have seen them.

7. The swords get quite a bit of focus. The protagonist isn't a Saniwa by birth, and the swords all have psychological issues, some of them severe (though the protagonist keeps them firmly in check).
